Burn Mapper
Effective date: August 27, 2026
Burn Mapper is a clinical support application designed to assist healthcare professionals in documenting and mapping burn injuries and calculating total body surface area burned (TBSA).
The application allows users to enter information associated with a burn case, which may include patient name, age, weight, height, electrical injury status, burn location, burn depth, TBSA, mapping information and case timestamps.
In the current version, case information is stored locally on the user's iPhone. Burn Mapper does not transmit case information to its own servers. Data remains inside the app's storage on the device and is protected by the iOS operating system's built-in security mechanisms. The app does not use additional database encryption beyond what the iOS platform provides.
Burn Mapper does not transmit clinical case information entered by the user to Burn Mapper servers, analytics providers, advertising networks or other third parties in the current version.
The current version does not use third-party analytics, advertising tracking or cross-app tracking.
No account or login is required to use Burn Mapper.
Burn Mapper offers a subscription to access all features. Purchases and renewals are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Burn Mapper does not receive or store your payment information. The app uses only the subscription entitlement status provided by Apple to control access. A minimal local cache of this status may be kept on the device so the app works offline.
Users can delete saved cases using the functionality provided within the application. Because case information is stored locally, uninstalling the application removes the application's local data from the device, subject to the device's operating-system behavior and any device-level backups.
If future versions introduce cloud synchronization, external sharing, analytics, support uploads or other forms of data transmission, this Privacy Policy and the corresponding App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before those features are released.
